[ http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2523470/no.html ] I bought a poster. I would have liked to have known that there was an issue. In fact, I bought several posters off Travis, and raffled off two or three at a Xmas Zmeet several years back. They were fairly prized items at the time. Would have been nice to know if there had been an issue. I am sure I am not alone in being someone who purchased a poster and wouldn't knowingly want to ruin things for other Z'ers to have a cool Z/Nissan experience. I am sure I am not alone in being someone who purchased a poster and thought the disclaimers surrounding the latest Zfan trip to Japan were simply as stated here: [ http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2523435/probly-has-to-do-with-rojoloccos-photos-being-used-all-over.html ] For all any of us who bought a poster knows, Travis got permission to reproduce that poster, after all they were still on sale as of yesterday, and it could have been this latest trip or another more recent one which brought more rules for attendees with a warning. In which case Travis is/was not "presenting a problem"...nor those who sent him money. It is clear no one told Travis he was creating a problem, because we can all see he resolved it after being called out publicly here.
"What a curiosity our new political correctness has made of our public spaces. Let your sex tape loose on the Internet and be rewarded with your own TV show; photograph a crucifix in a jar of urine and our museums will vie to exhibit it; occupy someone else’s property and you will be hailed by the president for your keen social conscience. But call people who blow up, behead and mutilate “savage” — and polite society will find you offensive." --Jared Silverman "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." --Winston Churchill "When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." --Benjamin Franklin "The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury." --George Washington END THE FED ....learn why, in 42 minutes Full Pardon for PFC Bradley Manning |
